First aid page for St. Martin-by-Looe
This is free page for showing the defibrillators in and
around St. Martin-by-Looe, it will also appear on our noticeboards, and a short free online course covering the
basics: spotting a cardiac arrest, CPR, and using a defibrillator.
In
research by St John Ambulance, 52% of people said they did not know where their
nearest defibrillator was. When one is used within the first few minutes it
makes an enormous difference to whether someone survives. We hope that by
working with local communities we can improve that.
